Educator Resources support groups of educators in developing a shared understanding of high-quality, standards-aligned instructional practice and feedback.

Comprehensive Health and Physical Education Summer Institute

August 5–8, 2024

Join fellow educators for 4 days of professional learning that allows participants to use the newly revised CHPE Framework to modify and design classroom learning experiences that bring the standards to life in the classroom. Sessions will focus on designing curriculum that centers the Practices and builds functional content knowledge, exploring current trends and topics, strategies for teaching sexuality-related content, using the new framework to design effective physical education learning experiences, and support for students with disabilities. Teams from schools/districts are encouraged to join as dedicated time will be given to working on local-level curriculum. Click here to Register.

Sex Ed Professional Development

Join DESE and Lighthouse Wellness and Health Consulting for trainings on strategies to create inclusive spaces that honor and affirm students learning about topics related to sex and sexuality education. These in-person sessions will run each training day from 9:00 am – 3:00pm.
