Funded by Literacy Launch: Reading Success from Age 3 to Grade 3 and the Comprehensive Literacy State Development (CLSD) grant, Partnership for Reading Success — Massachusetts (PRISM) grant programs will provide significant resources for public school district, charters, and community-based preschool providers across 2–5 years. The three PRISM program grants will support educators in evaluating, selecting, implementing, and sustaining evidence-based, culturally and linguistically sustaining practices, systems, and structures in order to achieve high and equitable rates of literacy proficiency.
The PRISM 1 grant will support educators in implementing and sustaining evidence-based, culturally and linguistically sustaining practices, systems, and structures to achieve high and equitable rates of literacy proficiency, including, strong tier one instruction based on high-quality instructional materials, and responsive supports for students who have additional needs within a multi-tiered system of support (MTSS).

PRISM 2 and PRISM 3 grant programs will support LEAs in evaluating, selecting, launching, and implementing high quality instructional materials for grades PreK–3 (PRISM 2) and grades 4–12 (PRISM 3). Both grants are intended to empower educators to create inspiring, engaging experiences for every student with materials and instruction that make a difference.
