The following document provides explanation of the EPIMS summary reports available to districts after they submit EPIMS data. It is very important for districts to carefully review the data in these reports before certifying their EPIMS submission.
This report provides a FTE comparison of the current EPIMS collection to the prior EPIMS collection. The report summarizes, for this reporting period and last reporting period, the full-time equivalent (FTE) for each job classification (WA07) and in some cases, such as the paraprofessional category, the assignment code (WA08). The FTE is calculated based on active staff (SR09 = 01 or 05), and active terms at the time of the collection (records where WA17 =01).
The difference between the two reporting periods is displayed as well as the percent change. When the percent change is 20% or greater, and there is a minimum count of 10 in the current FTE column, the row is highlighted for district review. This report is a useful tool for finding any potential errors or omissions in the EPIMS submission.
This report groups teachers first by grade level and then by core academic subject. It summarizes the total FTE, FTE of licensed teachers, and percent of licensed teachers by subject and by grade. In addition, it summarizes the total classes taught, for both this reporting period and last reporting period, by subject only. The FTE is calculated based on active staff (SR09 = 01 or 05), and on active terms at the time of the collection (records where WA17 =01). Teachers are identified by job classification code (WA07 values of 2305, 2306, 2307, 2308, 2310).
This report provides the same data as Report 2 but groups the teachers by the schools in which they work. The FTE is calculated based on active staff (SR09 = 01 or 05), and on active terms at the time of the collection (records where WA17 =01). Teachers are identified by job classification code (WA07 values of 2305, 2306, 2307, 2308, 2310).
This report provides a listing of work assignments reported for each staff member. The district level staff are displayed first, followed by the staff reported in each school. Within the district and school groups, staff are sorted first by job classification (WA07) and then sorted by last name.
This report provides a listing of staff reported with an inactive employment status (SR09 = 02, 03 or 04).
This report provides a count and percentage of evaluated staff by job classification type (administrators, principals, non-administrators, teachers). It also provides a count and percentage of evaluated staff by staff who are reported as PTS (SR28 = 01) and non-PTS (SR28 = 02).
This report provides a count and percentage of evaluated staff by job classification type (administrators, principals, non-administrators, teachers) grouped by school. It also provides a count and percentage of evaluated staff by those who are reported as PTS (SR28 = 01) and non-PTS (SR28 = 02).
This report lists the staff members that work in job classifications that requires an evaluation, but for whom an evaluation was not reported (SR29-SR33 = 00). The report lists the staff member's MEPID, first, middle and last names.
