Curriculum Frameworks Key Shifts: Mathematical Rigor in Pre-K – 5
This guide is designed to support districts to implement mathematically rigorous instruction in grades Pre-K – 5, through the lens of the three aspects of Mathematical Rigor.

STEM Leader Networks
The Leaders Networks are professional networks and communities of learners that include PreK–12 district and school content leaders in MA. Members of the network engage in collaborative discussions relevant to their role as educators and leaders within their districts. There are opportunities to expand professional networks, share resources and strategies around equitable implementation of the MA curriculum frameworks using high-quality instructional materials, and provide input on DESE initiatives.

e-Learning Modules

Architecture for Proportional Reasoning
This module focuses on the Pre-K to High School progression of proportional reasoning development and serves as a guiding map to support all students, including English learners (ELs), students with learning disabilities, struggling students, as well as students below, at, and above grade level.

Making Connections: Pre-K – 3 Content Standards for Mathematical Practice 2 and 7
This module is designed to help educators explore the connections between the 2017 Mathematics content standards and Standards for Mathematical Practices 2 and 7. There are eight sessions total and are designed to be used with educators who work with Pre-K – 3 students.
