The Office of STEM is part of DESE's Center for Instructional Support and consists of four disciplines: Mathematics, Science and Technology/Engineering, Digital Literacy and Computer Science, and Comprehensive Health and Physical Education. A comprehensive STEM education is relevant, rigorous, and coherent, fostering a positive STEM identity and a deep understanding of the content and practices in and across the STEM disciplines.
