The purpose of this targeted grant program is to provide funds to eligible Sponsoring Organizations to participate in a Formative Feedback Review for Early Literacy Programs. Formative Feedback Reviews will provide clear, comprehensive feedback on programmatic alignment to new expectations for early literacy instruction though optional, no-stakes reviews conducted by TPI-US.
Supporting educator preparation programs to align coursework, field-based experiences, and partnerships with evidence-based early literacy practices.
To be eligible, an Educator Preparation Sponsoring Organization must:

Up to approximately $200,000 is available.
Eligible Sponsoring Organizations may apply for up to $10,000 total.
Funding is contingent upon availability. All dollar amounts listed are estimated/approximate and are subject to change. If more funding becomes available it will be distributed under the same guidelines that appear in this RFP document.
Funds must be used to support planning for and/or participation in the Early Literacy Formative Feedback Review, and/or implementing related continuous improvement efforts (e.g., program development, staffing needs, materials, curriculum, or professional development) that emerge from the results of the review.
