These full-day in-person training sessions review the federal and state educational rights for highly mobile student populations, specifically students who are homeless, in foster care, or in migratory or military connected families. Discussion and hands-on activities will focus on identifying student needs and providing best practices to support educational stability for these groups of students. Orientations are for homeless education liaisons, foster care points of contact, and district staff and administrators who support our highly mobile students.
