This Excel Workbook consists of 3 worksheets containing the most recent data on Massachusetts charter schools:

1. The Fact Sheet contains current and historical information on charter schools, including the number, types, and statuses of operating and closed charter schools; student enrollment and demographics; annual waitlist information; and statutory caps on charter schools.

2. The Directory contains information on each school such as the location, dates of charter renewals, conditions or probation status, and maximum enrollment numbers.

3. The Application History lists how many applications to open a charter school have been received each year as well as the number of subsequent charter awards.
