The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (Department) is collecting estimated enrollment data for school year 2021-2022 to be used for the FY2022 state budget. The collection will be done using the Charter School Pre-Enrollment Estimate online application on the Department's Security Portal.
As with the past 2 years, we will not be collecting this information by town or grade, we will be collecting the total estimated FY2022 enrollment only. This information must be submitted by all Commonwealth and Horace Mann charter schools by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, December 7, 2020.
Please note: For this submission, if the charter school has a pending amendment to expand please assume that the amendment will not be granted. Include only the current approved expected FY2022 Enrollment.
The application is found in the Security Portal and is named Charter School Pre-Enrollment.
Note about the minimum and maximum error parameter ranges: Schools will be unable to submit pre-enrollment estimate data for less than an estimated minimum number of students or more than the maximum number of students allowed by their charters and only for grade levels served. If you believe that either of these two error parameters is incorrect or if the grades served needs to be adjusted, please contact Joanna Laghetto.
