This report, published by the New Jersey Department of Education, is intended to assist districts in re-thinking traditional budgetary approaches in order to find possible ways to fund technology initiatives by repurposing existing funding sources, or through transformative zero-based budgeting. The report utilizes case studies of innovative district budgeting practices from school districts across the country.
