This targeted state funded grant program provides financial assistance to local school districts with schools that have approved Expanded Learning Time (ELT) implementation plans.
Districts with schools with approved ELT implementation plans awarded FY2021 Expanded Learning Time Implementation Grants (Fund Code 225) are eligible.
State Funding
Approximately $3,500,000 may be available, subject to the final FY2022 state budget appropriation. Funds will be allocated on a per pupil basis based on average SIMS data.
Funding is contingent upon availability. All dollar amounts listed are estimated/approximate and are subject to change. If more funding becomes available it will be distributed under the same guidelines that appear in this RFP document.
Salaries, stipends, contracts, instructional materials, and other expenses associated with operating an expanded school schedule. Please Note: Funds are Not intended to solely cover salaries and stipends for teachers.

Please feel free to use this template when preparing for Application Submission. This Is Not the Budget. The actual final budget the applicant is requesting will be entered directly into EdGrants as part of the application submission process.)

ELT Collective Bargaining Documentation (provided by district via email)*
Submit all required grant materials through EdGrants, with the exception of the *Collective Bargaining Documentation, which may be submitted when negotiated and signed for the 2021-2022 academic year and emailed to: Moira Connolly.
In EdGrants, districts are required to create and name the project. Please use the following naming convention for your "Application Project Name" in EdGrants:

All required forms should be uploaded / attached in the Attachments List formlet of the Application Submission. This includes a signed / scanned PDF of Part I / Coversheet with Superintendent's signature as well as Part III and ELT Grant Assurances.
