FY21 End of Year Financial Report (EOYR) workbooks are currently available in the MassEdu Gateway.
We encourage school officials completing the FY21 EOYR to contact DESE about any technical difficulties they encounter (downloading and uploading, macros, printing, cell references, etc). If such problems are confirmed, this document will identify them and explain how to correct them if necessary.
Edit 13, on the edits tab, is not correctly calculating the total expenditures reported for each school on Schedule 3 so it may not clear even if you have reported spending for all of your schools. This is just an issue with the edit, not with Schedule 3 itself. We will correct this issue when you submit your report.
Edit 16, on the edits tab, is not correctly capturing the assessment method (statutory or alternative) reported by regional school districts on Schedule 2 or Schedule 19c. We will correct this issue when you submit your report.
The data prepopulated for FY19 and FY20 on line 137 in the year-over-year comparison table on the reports tab, Total DESE Administered Federal Grants (line 3080, cols 1, 2, 3), is incorrect. The prepopulated amounts do not include the amounts that were spent from Title I or IDEA in both years. We will correct this issue when you submit your report.
The data prepopulated for FY19 and FY20 on line 184 in the year-over-year comparison table on the reports tab includes the amounts reported on lines 4310 Public Transportation Assessment and 4320 Payments from Revolving and Special Funds in addition to line 4290 Total Transportation Expenditures for All Programs, but the line description and the formula pulling in the data for FY21 only includes line 4290. We will update the line description and the FY21 formula to include lines 4310 and 4320.
