Teacher and Principal Advisory Cabinets

The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education is pleased to convene the Teacher and Principal Advisory Cabinets each year. Members come together four times throughout the year to inform the development of new policies and resources. The Teacher and Principal Advisory Cabinets have played a critical role in shaping policy and driving resource development since 2012.

In addition to classroom teachers and principals, the Teacher and Principal Advisory Cabinets aim to create leadership opportunities, elevate excellent teaching and leading, and create a space for networking and collaboration amongst educators. Previous cabinet members have been named Massachusetts Teacher of the Year and received the Massachusetts School Administrators' Association Principal of the Year Award.
