Purpose: | The purpose of this continuation grant program is to enhance the capacity of FC 645: 21st Century Community Learning Center programs (CCLC), awarded a competitive grant funding through Fund Code (FC) 245 in FY2016 or FY2017 to more effectively include students on Individualized Education Plans (IEP) into existing programs. This grant program uses federal special education funding to enhance existing programs funded through federal 21st Century Community Learning Centers grants (ESSA Title IVB). |

If more funding is to become available, it will be distributed under the same guideline as listed in the initial RFP document. |
Fund Use: | Funds must be used to support the enhancement of existing 21st CCLC's capacity to fully and appropriately include students on an IEP. Services must be offered during non-school hours or periods when school is not in session. Allowable expenses include but may not be limited to:
Indirect costs are not allowed under this grant. |

Date Due: | Budget workbooks are due Friday August 11, 2017. Once approved budgets will need to be entered into EdGrants. Part III Required Program Information is due on or before Friday, September 29, 2017. See Submission Instructions section below for more details. Proposals will be reviewed as they are received. Proposals will be awarded funding if all requirements are met. Note: If an application is not approvable, the applicant will be contacted with direction about additional information needed. Once approved, applications will be uploaded to EdGrants as described in the submissions instructions section. Contact Karyl Resnick with questions. In EdGrants, districts are required to create and name the project. Please use the following naming convention for your "Applicant Project Name" in EdGrants: FY18 FC244 21st CCLC Enhanced Programs for Students on an IEP (Applicant Name) All required forms should be uploaded / attached in the Attachments List format of the Application Submission. This includes a signed / scanned PDF of Part I / Coversheet with Superintendent's signature. The final budget the applicant is requesting will be entered directly into EdGrants as part of the application submission process. For Guidance Documents regarding EdGrants, visit EdGrants: User Guides and Information. Please note: It is up to the district to determine who they want to add as EdGrants Front Office users in order to submit grant applications as well as payment request information.
