[W.9-10.2] - Write informative/explanatory texts (e.g., essays, oral reports, biographical feature articles) to examine and convey complex ideas, concepts, and information clearly and accurately through the effective selection, organization, and analysis of content.

    In general, a careful examination of the parts of a whole and their relationships to one another; in language arts, a study of how words, sentences, paragraphs, stanzas, or sections of a text affect its meaning.

    Is designed to make a subject, concept, or process clear and understandable to the intended audience using one or more of the following methods: identification, definition, classification, illustration, comparison, and/or analysis
