[RL.4.7] - Make connections between a written story or drama and its visual or oral presentation, identifying where each version reflects specific descriptions and directions in the written text.
- Description
An author’s use of words to illustrate a scene, event, phenomenon, object, or character; descriptions in literary texts usually contain carefully chosen imagery that appeals to the audience’s sense of sight, sound, smell, touch, or taste. - Drama
Literature in the form of a script intended for performance before an audience; also called theatre or a play when written for the stage. A drama usually presents its story largely through the dialogue and actions of its characters. - Massachusetts Anchor Standards for Reading
