| Purpose: | To enable the Workforce Development Boards to provide high school teachers with externships at business locations in their region that are in industries struggling with skill gaps and talent pipeline issues to improve teacher instruction and increase their knowledge of these industries |
| Priorities: | Teacher placement in organizations that are experiencing a shortage of qualified applicants in industries that offer promising careers for students of the Commonwealth |
| Eligibility: | The 16 Workforce Development Boards |
| Funding Type: | State Trust - New Skills for Youth (NSFY) - 7010-1604 |
| Funding: | $64,000 from NSFY Fund Funding is contingent upon availability. All dollar amounts listed are estimated/approximate and are subject to change. If more funding is to become available it will be distributed under the same guideline as listed in the initial RFP document. |
