Domain - Interpreting Functions
Cluster - Analyze functions using different representations.
[MII.F-IF.C.8] - Write a function defined by an expression in different but equivalent forms to reveal and explain different properties of the function.
- Expression
A mathematical phrase that combines operations, numbers, and/or variables (e.g., 32 ÷ a). - Function
A mathematical relation for which each element of the domain corresponds to exactly one element of the range.
[7.EE.A.1] -
Apply properties of operations to add, subtract, factor, and expand linear expressions with rational coefficients.
For example, 4x + 2 = 2(2x +1) and -3(x – 5/3) = -3x + 5.
