Title I Data Collection

FY24 Title I Data Collection — Due July 1 in GEM$

The required application supplement for the FY24 Title I Data Collection is now available in GEM$, and the submission deadline is July 1, 2024. In accordance with federal Title I reporting requirements, all districts receiving Title I funds must submit this required data collection prior to DESE approving your FY25 ESSA grants.

Required GEM$ role:
Staff assigned the role of "LEA Grantwriter" for the ESSA Consolidated Grant Application will be able to access and complete the Title I data collection application supplement in GEM$. Your district's "User Access Administrator" is responsible for assigning roles and any role can be assigned to multiple people in the district.

Accessing and Completing the Application Supplement in GEM$:

  1. Log into GEM$, go to 'Application Supplement' on the left side navigation bar, and select 'Application Supplements'.
  2. Select 2024 as the fiscal year and then click on Title I, Part A Data Collection.
  3. Once you click into the application supplement, you must change the status at the top of your screen to Application Supplement Started. This will enable you to enter the data.
  4. Enter District-Level and School-Level data.
  5. Once completed, you must then change the status to Application Supplement Completed.

Please note: If your district is part of a Consortium, the lead district must complete the data collection on behalf of all member districts (submitting under the lead district account). Member districts do not need to complete it separately.
